Im going to do my video on the state island skate park.  im going to tell when it was built and  how kid  get to do what they love. it has help the community by showing that they care and think about the kids in staten island communtiy. it has brought kids from my different areas together,  as a community to enjoy what they love to do. the park gives us  kids something to do, and keeps them from getting out of trouble. the park has 22 ramps, asphalt benches and drainging system. They have many different ramps,  to  get speed and  do tricks.  I  will show tricks, that they  could learn and  practices. There are many people that practices Bmx, skateboard and scooter. The skate park  idea was from parks & recreation commissioner adrian benepe , they adress it to the staten island president james P.Molinaro. They got 550,000 dollars to built the park and it was finally built in 2004.The Mayor’s Office provided $354,000 and the additional $199,000 came from a New York State Environmental Protection Fund grant.
